Junior Business Analyst

Qualifications

• B.S. degree with three to four years experience as a business analyst in a client facing position
• General knowledge of hospital information systems, interfaces, and information flow
• Experience with designing and creating reports that pull report data from a database
• Experience with relational databases
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, including source to target mapping
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent follow through and initiative
• Strong conceptual and analytical skills; process-oriented
• Highly organized
• Advanced problem solving skills
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in requirements gathering and development
• Ability to present ideas and information in group settings

Responsibilities

• For our hospital system clients, meet with / interview client representatives to identify and document requirements for implementation of new clinical data warehouse
• Document inventory of hospital systems, interfaces, and available data
• Participate in data warehouse design to ensure client requirements are satisfied
• Assist with testing of new data warehouse to ensure client requirements are satisfied
• Perform data validation after each new load of data into the data warehouse
• 25% travel required
